How it works
- Download and use it. The trial begins the first time Switchyard opens.
- Buy a plan here or from the app. Payment is handled by Dodo Payments, who send the receipt.
- Your licence key arrives by email. Bought from the app, it applies itself; bought here, paste it into the app once.
One licence is for one computer at a time. Moving to a new one takes a click: paste the key there and confirm the move. If a plan ends, Switchyard does not lock you out: it goes read-only, so you can still read every repository, and writes come back the moment it is renewed.
Questions
- Who is the seller?
- Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for every order: they take the payment, handle sales tax and VAT, and issue the invoice. On a card statement the charge appears under Dodo's name (for example "DODOPAY"), not Switchyard's.
- Which currency will I pay in?
- In India, rupees: ₹149 a month or ₹1,490 a year, taxes included, by UPI, RuPay or card. Elsewhere, US dollars, or your local currency at checkout.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time, from the app's account panel or from the billing page Dodo links to. The plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. See the refund policy.
- Does paying change what the app sends?
- Your code still never leaves your machine. To know your plan, the app sends a one-way hash of your computer's id and, once you have one, your licence. The privacy policy says exactly what is kept.
